Cream

Miss Masatit (Cream)

Hello Schuyler Community Families! My name is Rinrada Masatit (Cream). I graduated from UNK on December of 2022, and I am beyond thrilled to be a part of Schuyler Community Schools as a 4th grade teacher this upcoming school year. I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, speaking Thai as my primary language until I moved to the U.S. in 2015 for education. I grew up with two sisters, Cake and Cookie, along with my parents. I can speak Thai and English fluently, and I am in the process of learning Korean and Spanish. An interesting fact about me is that I could play drums; I am not amazing at it, but it’s an instrument that I’m best at. I am excited to teach at Schuyler Community Schools because of the wonderful and welcoming staff. I have been blessed with amazing and supportive teachers in my life, now I am excited to be that teacher for students in Schuyler, Nebraska!

Miss. Nicole Placek

was born and raised in Alliance, Nebraska. My family consists of my dad-John, mom-Lynn, and younger brother-Zachary. My parents still live in Alliance and my brother is a senior at the United States Naval Academy and will join the Marines as a pilot in May. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney this past December with a degree in Elementary Education. An interesting fact about me is that I love Duke basketball and I am obsessed with March Madness. I am excited to work at Schuyler Elementary because I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in Elementary School and now my dream is becoming a reality. I am looking forward to meeting all the students and staff and joining such a welcoming community.

Miss. Isabelle Short

I am so excited to be joining the fourth grade team at Schuyler! I grew up in Omaha and then moved to Kearney in 2019 to pursue my degree in Elementary Education from UNK. I will be graduating this May after completing my student teaching in Grand Island. I am so excited to be teaching fourth grade at Schuyler because of the supporting community. Community support is so important to schools and Schuyler's support is unmatched by any other community I have seen. A fun fact about me is that I love rock climbing!

Nadia

Mrs. Nadia Torres

Hi! My name is Mrs. Torres and I am a proud fourth grade teacher at SES! I taught 5th grade for 3 years and am now on a new adventure, 4th grade. My husband and I enjoy spending our (little) free time watching movies, spending time with family, or traveling. We own "Frida Gifts and More" in Schuyler, which is a customizing business.

After taking a year break I decided to come back to teaching. I absolutely LOVE teaching and couldn't stay away from it. I love watching my students grow and get excited about learning. I aspire to be that "best" teacher that students talk about when they are older.
