I am originally from Linwood, NE and graduated from Schuyler Community Schools in 2014. I attended Wayne State College and graduated with my degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education in 2018. I also recently graduated with my Master’s degree in School Administration. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 5 years. I live in David City with my husband, Ryan, and dog, Kona!
Mrs. Sarah Garcia
Hello, I love teaching and coaching at SES! I previously taught 2nd grade and currently teach Kindergarten and coach youth softball. I grew up on a farm south of Columbus and graduated from Lakeview Community Schools class of 2011. I continued my education at Midland University to become a teacher, while also playing collegiate softball. In 2015, I graduated from Midland with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Early Childhood Education, English as a Second Language and Coaching. In 2021, I obtained a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State College. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors with my family and friends, helping at the farm, playing sports, and volunteering at my church!

I have two older brothers and a younger sister. All of us went to Auburn Public Schools for high school and Peru State College for higher education. I love to read books and do embroidery in my spare time. But, my real passion is teaching!"

Hello! My name is Miss Shala Ostberg and I am an elementary teacher and also help with the After-School Program. I graduated from Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska, with a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education and have been teaching since 2016. I enjoy exercising and playing sports outside, cooking and baking, reading books, and watching Disney movies!

Hello, my name is Serena Sanchez. I was raised in Santa Barbara, California, and moved to Fremont, NE to attend Midland University where I wrestled. I have two dogs in Nebraksa named Bella and Debo and two rottweilers named Bella and Izzy in California. I am so excited for this opportunity at Schuyler.

Hi! I am Ann Sobota and I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. I went to college at Wayne State for both my undergraduate and masters. My husband, Kaleb, and I got married back in 2016. We have two daughters, Braelyn and Haisley, who love running around on our family farm! Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I have loved being able to share it with my students here at Schuyler.
