🌟 Join the Walk Into Iowa Challenge! 🌟

Hey Schuyler friends! 👋

Our staff had so much fun with last year’s Step Challenge that we’re bringing it back — and this time, we’re inviting the whole community to join us! 💚

This fall, we’re Walking to Iowa in November and Walking Back to Schuyler in December! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

💥 Every 2,000 steps = 1 mile
💥 However far you get in November, that’s how far you’ll “walk back” home in December
💥 It’s not a competition — just a fun way to stay active and motivated through the holidays!

You can track your steps however you’d like — watch, phone, or pedometer — and see how far you make it across our super cute map of the route to Iowa. 🗺️

📅 The challenge starts Saturday, and sign-ups are open through Wednesday.
You can even back count your steps starting Saturday so you get the full month!

Nuestro personal se divirtió tanto con el Reto de Pasos del año pasado que decidimos traerlo de vuelta — ¡y esta vez invitamos a toda la comunidad a participar! 💚

Este otoño estaremos Caminando hasta Iowa en noviembre y Regresando a Schuyler en diciembre. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

💥 Cada 2,000 pasos = 1 milla
💥 Tan lejos como llegues en noviembre, ¡esa misma distancia tendrás que caminar en diciembre para “regresar” a casa!
💥 No es una competencia — solo una manera divertida de mantenernos activos y motivados durante la temporada festiva.

Puedes registrar tus pasos con tu reloj, teléfono o podómetro y ver hasta dónde llegas en nuestro mapa súper lindo de la ruta hacia Iowa. 🗺️

📅 El reto comienza este sábado y puedes inscribirte hasta el miércoles.
Incluso puedes contar tus pasos desde el sábado para aprovechar todo el mes.

Mrs. Lopez's class had a wonderful time at the pumpkin patch! So many smiles, laughs, and pumpkins! 🎃🍁

Fall fun at Eller Ranch Pumpkin Patch! 🎃Miss Alarcon’s class had the best time petting animals, choosing pumpkins, and zipping through the air on the zip line! ¡Diversión de otoño en la granja de calabazas de Eller Racnh! 🎃 ¡La clase de la Miss. Alarcón se divirtió muchísimo acariciando animales, eligiendo calabazas y deslizándose por la tirolesa!

Mrs. Macaluso's class had a great time at Eller Ranch Pumpkin Patch! We made friends with some animals, played in the sand, went through a corn maze, rode bikes, and picked out a pumpkin! ¡La clase de la Sra. Macaluso se lo pasó muy bien en Eller Ranch Pumpkin Patch! ¡Nos hicimos amigos de algunos animales, jugamos en la arena, pasamos por un laberinto de maíz, montamos en bicicleta y recogimos una calabaza!

Congratulations to the Warriors on senior night! They came through with a 23-22 win over the Wayne Blue Devils! And congratulations to our six seniors!

🎃 Trunk or Treat is TOMORROW! 👻

We can’t wait to see everyone downtown Schuyler for the 7th Annual Trunk or Treat — Thursday, October 16th from 5:30–7:00 PM!

It’s going to be a beautiful evening (79° and partly sunny!), perfect for all the amazing costumes and decorated trunks. 🌤️✨

With almost 40 local businesses and organizations participating, this year’s event will be spooktacular! 🎃🕸️
