To celebrate CTE Month, we welcomed Shaun Smith from Behlen in Columbus into our welding classes. He demonstrated industry techniques and gave students the opportunity to test their new welding helmets and filtration systems. Currently, we have a Junior at SCHS participating in the Work-Based Learning program, gaining hands-on experience at Behlen, in Columbus. We’re proud to highlight this valuable partnership and the opportunities our Work-Based Learning program provides. This past weekend, Bela Jedlicka, Ally Vavricek, Addy Vavricek, and Abby Reyna of the Schuyler Central FFA Chapter competed in the Nebraska Cattleman’s Classic Livestock Judging Contest in Kearney, a national competition featuring teams from across the country. Our team delivered an outstanding performance, earning an impressive second place overall! Be sure to congratulate them on this achievement when you see them. Way to represent Schuyler!
The SCHS Deadline for Senior and baby pictures is fast approaching. Friday, February 28th is the last day to email or turn in your Senior or Baby picture.
