Schuyler Central High School is proud to congratulate Linda Sebastian, Citlaly Martinez, Madalyn Mendez, and Arodi Quezada (pictured from left to right) on being selected as the school’s local Believers & Achievers Award winners!

Believers & Achievers is an NSAA program that recognizes Nebraska high school students who demonstrate outstanding achievement in academics, activities, and their communities. The award celebrates students who exemplify strong character, leadership, commitment, and the values of education and participation.

Linda, Citlaly, Madalyn, and Arodi have each made a positive impact at Schuyler Central High School through their hard work, involvement, and dedication. We are proud to have them represent SCHS and congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition!

In Miss. Denman's class we are learning how to work, read, and answer questions as a group in reading class! ☀️📚📝

Miss Wolfe’s class filled up their Bean Jar for good behavior & they had a slime party to celebrate! Everyone made and decorated their own slime! So much fun😊

The Kindergarteners wrapped up their unit on the five sense by having a Five Senses Carnival. They enjoyed being sound and smell detectives, taste testing sweet, sour, and salty foods, wearing 3D glasses to ride a rollercoaster, and sorting things by different textures!

Mrs. Vavrina's class has been learning about controlling motion! Students raced to see who could get their ping pong ball to the target the quickest!

Our amazing Kindergarten paras!

Mrs. Kehler’s fourth graders are bringing the Middle Ages to life! In reading, students have been learning about what life was like during this time. They used what they learned to build dioramas of medieval towns and countryside scenes. Using cardboard, popsicle sticks, paper, and other craft supplies, students got creative with the details of their projects!

Schuyler Volunteer Fire Department came to talk with 5th grade today about fire safety and prevention. Students learned about tools and equipment from Engine 33. Students also got to see items that started past fires in Schuyler and learn some do’s and don’ts in case of emergencies. Thank you SVFD and thank you Paul and Diane for coming to SES!

Our first graders had so much fun being detectives and using all five senses to explore and learn!
