On Saturday, February 4th, 14 band students from Schuyler Middle School participated in the 2023 Stanton Honors Music Festival in Stanton, Nebraska. The kids were selected through a nomination process where the best band students from SMS were picked to join the honors band.
The kids woke up bright and early for some Casey's breakfast pizza at 6:00 AM, followed by a one hour bus ride, rehearsals all day, and then wrapping up with a final concert for the public at 4:00 PM.
