Heather Bebout is the principal of Dual Language and Fisher’s Schools. She is also the After-school Program Director for Schuyler Community Schools. Heather taught 2nd grade for eight years at Schuyler Elementary School. She also taught 3rd & 4th grade in Utah for four years.
Heather has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Weber State University. She has a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Technology from the University of Phoenix. Heather received an endorsement in Elementary Administration at Chadron State College in May of 2017. She has an ELL endorsement on her Utah Teaching Certificate and Driver’s ED endorsement on her Nebraska Teaching Certificate. Heather served as the Committee Chair for School Improvement at Schuyler Elementary School for eight years.
Heather was born in Portugal (the Azores) and by the age of 12 had lived in New Mexico, Okinawa Japan, North Carolina, Iowa, Germany, and Utah. She lived in Utah until 2008 when she moved to Nebraska. Heather has one son, Michael, who graduated from UNL in 2019 and was married to Megan Bebout in May 2021. She lives in Schuyler and is proud to be part of the community!
