Dear Families,
Today, at Schuyler Middle School, a student shouted “He has a gun!” This of course is a serious statement and one we are taking seriously. While it appears that this was a situation of poor decision making on the students' part, we are taking every precaution to ensure the safety of everyone in the building. As always, we will err on the side of safety. I share this message not to alarm anyone but just to communicate what happened today and ensure that correct information is being shared.
Sincerely,
Dr. Bret Schroder, Superintendent
Schuyler Community Schools
