In this unit in Coding, we are working on the problem solving process. Students had to "define" the problem, "prepare" a plan, "try" (or test) and "reflect" on what went right or what they had to change. This problem was to build the strongest structure with 4 pieces of paper and 6" of tape that are 5" or more high that will hold as many dictionaries as possible.

Our campers had another exciting day exploring new interests, building skills, and making memories!
Today, students had the opportunity to participate in several amazing clubs, including:
🛍️ Heart of Schuyler Jr. Crew – Students got a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a real business. They learned about customer service, product displays, inventory, and keeping the store organized.
🤖 RoboMasters: Summer Bot Builders Academy – Future engineers jumped into the world of VEX EXP Robotics, exploring building systems, problem-solving, teamwork, and the basics of robotics design.
🧪 Young Scientist Club – Students created magnetic slime by mixing slime with iron oxide powder and discovering how magnets can stretch and attract their creations. Hands-on science at its best!
🥁 Camp Little Rockstars: Sing, Build & Explore! – Campers designed and decorated their own tambourines, sang songs, and made music together while expressing their creativity.
🎨 Creative Rookies Club – Students created beautiful personalized bag charms while exploring artistic techniques, creativity, and self-expression.
We love seeing our students learn, create, collaborate, and have fun all at the same time!
If your child hasn't joined us yet, there's still time! We will be attaching the registration information again. We'd love to welcome more students to our Summer Camp family.
