Dear Schuyler Families,
Today we were alerted by authorities that they were searching for an adult male that has warrants for this arrest and a history of violence. This man was on foot and somewhere in Schuyler. To help ensure the safety of our staff and students we put all our in-town buildings into a SECURE state. What this means is that we continue with classes as normal but we ensure that all outside doors are locked and we do not allow students and staff outside. If you have any questions do not hesitate to call me at 402-352-3527.
Sincerely,
Dr. Bret Schroder, Superintendent
Schuyler Community Schools

Dear Schuyler Families,
Today, during the cross country meet at our local golf course and lake, a drunk driver drove through one of the barricades. Thanks to the quick thinking of our high school principal Joey Lefdal and our Fire Chief Brad Sock no one was injured. They quickly cornered the driver to stop them from going further. As always, our first goal is to keep our students and staff safe during all our activities.
Sincerely,
Dr. Bret Schroder, Superintendent
Schuyler Community Schools
